Hello, my name is Amy Larrabee. I am a believer in our almighty savior, Jesus Christ, wife of 20 years, mother of 4 amazing kiddos, (plus a beautiful surro-baby girl) health enthusiast and entrepreneur. God placed surrogacy on my heart at the young age of 12. I knew it would be in my future but wasn’t sure when or exactly what I was in for!

After 3 children and thinking my family was complete, God told me to purse surrogacy. I was immediately perplexed, as I couldn’t find any agencies that lined up with my Christian morals. I found myself excusing or ignoring my principles because I so clearly heard God tell me to become a surrogate. I trusted in Him and joined an agency, even though they were pro-termination. It was a weird feeling… Internally I felt a little sick to my stomach but I kept having faith that this was Gods plan, and he would take care of me. Within just a few short weeks, things went very sour with the agency and with no warning, my match ended abruptly and in a very negative way. I was blindsided, crushed and heartbroken! How could this end? I was obeying God, after all and he told me to do this.

I don’t think I could have ever survived the next week without the support of my amazing husband, Ernie. I kept telling him that if I owned my own surrogate agency, I would treat the surrogates like gold, and I would provide a safe and moral place for them to selflessly give life to others.

One morning after wallowing in my agony for almost a week, he confidently and cheerfully looked at me and said, “Why don’t you start your own Christian surrogate agency?” Instantly, God said “Yes!“ to me and I blurted out, “Okay, and it will be called, Surrogacy by Faith!” Just like that, Surrogacy by Faith was born… May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

With any new business, there are ups and downs but I always felt at peace like God took my hand and lead me down the path of exactly what I needed know, do and learn to be the best Christian surrogate mentor I could be. I am forever grateful and humbled by this experience. I truly believe God‘s purpose for my life was to help create families, one surrogacy at a time, through the grace of God. People sometimes ask, if I ever feel like I’m playing God. My reply is always the same and no, I definitely do not. He has the ultimate control over every situation and I am super thankful at the success he’s allowed our surrogates and parents to have. God is so good!

After delivering our surrogate baby in February of 2015, God softened my heart towards having a fourth child. My husband had always wanted another one but I had close that chapter in my mind considering our third child was already 10 years old. Fast forward a year, I delivered our fourth child in the fall of 2016 and what a miracle she is. I couldn’t imagine our life without her!

In my spare time (haha) you will find me watching my children play sports, snowboarding, boating or riding horses. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I am an open book. I’ve poured my heart and soul into Surrogacy by Faith, and I hope and pray to be a blessing to all who embark on their surrogate journey with us! Love and light, in His name! ~Amy~

Hello there, my name is Veronica Avila. Jesus is my Lord and Savior, being a wife & mother are my greatest blessings in life. I have been married to my husband Jordan for 10 years and we have 3 beautiful children Roman, Abel and Aurora Joy. I became a Christian when I turned 18 and cannot picture living life without faith.

‘For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,’Ephesians 2:8

I try everyday to live my life giving God his glory in all I do!!!!

I was born in Ventura, CA. Moved around quite a bit when I was younger even as far as back east to New Hampshire. But the sandy beaches of Ventura is where my heart will always reside. Currently living in the little valley of Kern River, you can find me at a baseball game watching my boys play or watching my daughter ride horses. Going on vacations is our favorite, we love seeing new places and trying new foods! Hanging out on the beach or by the river, reading a good Christian book, going for a hike, making my own natural product & remedies, and seasonally decorating my home & making it feel cozy are a few things I enjoy!

Years ago a friend of mine did surrogacy and she absolutely loved it. I didn’t have much knowledge about it then but listening to her story, it inspired me and God put it in my heart to consider it. Feeling blessed and set in my family, I also absolutely love being pregnant! I felt it was time to try and help a family in a special journey of their own. I started reaching out to agencies, tried to find one that fit me but none of them had the same values or morals as me. Just when I was about to say maybe this isn’t for me I found Surrogacy by Faith, after talking with Amy I knew I found an agency I felt comfortable with and was ready to move forward in this new chapter of my life. I have all thanks to God had 2 successful surrogate deliveries and I am currently in the process of my 3rd. Surrogacy has been a huge blessing in my life and I hope to pass that joy along to others. Giving it all to God and looking forward to what he has in store.(:

Hello, my name is Alisha Knudsen. I am a wife, a mother, a sister, a friend, an aunt, but most importantly a daughter of Christ.

I was born in Red Bluff, Ca and raised in Redding, Ca. I grew up being very active in church, and I believe from it, God gave me a heart for children. I dreamed of the day I would get married and have children of my own.

During my high school years I spent my summers being a nanny for a family on Cape Cod. It was during these summer adventures that I met the man of my dreams.

After graduating high school, I moved to Boston so we could be together, and our relationship could continue to grow. In the summer of 2005 we were married and moved back to California in the Spring of 2006.

We made Cottonwood, Ca our home and decided to start our family. We were (and are still) blessed with 3 beautiful, healthy children, 2 boys and a girl. They are our world and fill each day with joy and adventures!

We experienced a great loss after having our second son. I was pregnant with our 3rd son, but The Lord called him home to Heaven before we were able to hold him in our arms. Our hearts were broken, but we hold onto the hope we have in knowing we will one day be able to hold him in our arms in Heaven.

The Lord blessed us shortly after with our beautiful daughter- what joy she brings to us each day! We realize how truly blessed and fortunate we are to be able to have 3 healthy children.

The Lord placed surrogacy on my heart and showed me the amazing blessing it is to be able to give the gift of life. I have completed 2 journeys with Surrogacy By Faith and I am forever changed by those experiences.

After my last journey, I knew I wanted to be a part of this company. I didn’t feel the journey with the company was over just because I had completed the surrogacy. Amy had grown to be so much more to me than just an agent. She became a friend and someone I admire in the way she runs her business, and in her life. Her heart and faith had made this agency family to me. I am truly honored for the opportunity to be able to work alongside these wonderful women, and to be a part of such an amazing company. It is a true blessing to be able to work for a company who, through God’s grace, is bringing families the best gift ever… the gift of life!

Hello! My name is Taylor Hohl, I am a mom of two very cool kids who inspire me every day. Along with my husband of 9 happy years, my family is everything to me and is the single thing I am most proud of in my life. I love the Lord first, and feel grateful everyday because of his blessings.
I grew up in Manteca, CA attending Calvary Community Church where my mom still runs the church coffee shop. I was very involved in the youth group; attending many camps, mission trips, and stared in many theater productions. This is where my desire to help others started. I feel lucky to have grown up in such a wonderful church and was able to build a strong foundation in my faith at a young age.
I am the product of two very proud Italian and Portuguese families who gave me my deep love for great food, great wine, and great company. At 18 years old, I was representing our local Portuguese club as a side-maid in the Festa parades and met my husband at a Festa. We now live in the most charming town of Turlock, CA where we love to be surrounded by agriculture and a close community. We spend a lot of time with family and friends, camping and riding quads, taking trips to the beach, and cabin trips to the mountains.
I really love to be around people and am happiest in social settings. I believe God created us to be together. Family is so important to me, being a surrogate was not a big decision. Since I was very young I have talked about surrogacy and it has always felt like a very natural thing for me to do. I embarked on my surrogacy journey with Surrogacy by Faith after meeting a woman who had been a surrogate for this company in the past and recommended it to me. My journey was filled with high highs and low lows and so many unexpected turns. This team was with me for every single moment. God knew exactly what he was doing placing Amy and her company in my path. I am confident that I am right where I should be. I feel so fortunate I get to continue helping more families grow and get to work for such an incredible company.
